Little Jet Set

Discussions of holiday travel plans are common at my house right now. Where to go for what holiday, whether to go anywhere at all, when to go if we do go, weather considerations, and how to manage it all with the impending discomfort of pregnancy and our delightful [impossible] 2 year old. The latter probably posing the greatest obstacle–I’d rather avoid resigning myself to a portable DVD player.

Thankfully, Little Jet Set has compiled a delightful arsenal of travel helps and amusements for all ages.  Their collection is stellar to say the least, whether traveling short distances or long, whether by plane or train or automobile. My favorite items are those that are portable, versatile, creative and entertaining but not necessarily electronic.  Some picks:

Very snuggly blanket, pillow, and soft toy, easily attached to or stuffed in a carry on bag. Adorably available in all sorts of favorite zoo and safari animals with cute names. This one is already loved by my little guy and we haven’t gone anywhere yet!
Large, sturdy, utterly cheerful illustrated cards that encourage a child (and parent) to create his own story. Choose a card, create a story, choose another card, add to the story. Endless possibilities; engaging and inspiring. Also available in Robot edition.
Dozens of felt cutouts to arrange and rearrange (and rearrange some more)  in a board book depicting that beloved pre-school tune. Read, sing, play. I see airplane time whizzing by with this.
Happy jet setting to you and your little ones, thankfully with help from Little Jet Set.
And for a little extra help, receive $5 of a $5o purchase, $15 off a $75 purchase, or $25 off a $100 purchase, valid through November 15. Spend $50 in that period and receive a 20% off coupon to use at a later date. “Pack smart, travel happy”
