A big fat THANK YOU to Lori for her amazing posts last week. Didn't she do a terrific job? I can't wait until I have some time to sit down and use her step-by-step instructions to make a hat, sweater, and baby leg warmers. So cute. If you want to keep up with Lori in all her multi-talentedness you can do so here, she's always making something great.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 307 Newer› Newest»I am dying to learn to knit! I am posting your button on my blog!
Me Please! I am learning to knit and would love, love, love this!
Sorry for the extra post, but I tweeted about it too!
I would love these! I made a resolution to learn how to knit and this would be great to have.
I just started knitting and I need supplies because I really have no idea what is good or not. I suspect these are great.

Well, crocheting is more my passion. However, knitting has a neater, cleaner, look on sweaters and hats. I don't know how to knit. My mom tried to teach me a time or two. Now that I am a mother, I feel this call to make sweaters, hats, blankets and all yummy homemade things. So I'd love to get this wonderful "giveaway" so I could get started.
I want to give these to my sis in law who has her own etsy site!
I would love to win this giveaway for my good friends Erin. Like myself, she is a mother of 3 and is trying to start up her open little business. I think this would be a great gift for her to help save her money.

Ok ! I want it! I used to knit - in my single days, I even used to sell my knitwear. but since getting married and having a baby I just don't do it any more. about a year ago my neighbor asked me if I knew how to knit, I said sure! Her 15 year old daughter wanted to learn. So I packed up my knitting stuff and took it over. Taught her how to knit and gave her my stuff to use. Shortly after this she moved away and I never saw my knitting stuff again! Recently I have been looking at some cool knitting patterns for my daughter! And realized I have no knitting stuff anymore! Boy I could use this!
Shari
just left my comment but forgot a contact email! silly me! I really want it! I will twit now too!
I have been knitting for 50 yrs and a Mom of 6 and grandma of 22 and 4 great grans with more to come. First there is no way I would make any thing for a kid never mind a baby with cotton or wool. If you like the pattern you can cut out the blocking step by using some type of synthetic yarn. (and you can rid the sweater of all poop and spit up by machine washing and drying) Second this pattern is easy knitting but the putting it together is not as easy. Third this pattern requires 2 skills both knitting and crocheting.
But the contest is great. And I hope whoever wins enjoys knitting many many articles.
This is a fantastic offering. My Nana spent countless hours trying to teach me to knit. For some reason, it was very difficult for me to master. Later, my dear friend, Dafne, tried again, but still, I was not able to catch on. Finally, I gave it one last try after watching DIY shows, and Voila! I can Knit!! Now, I don't want to stop. I am like a kid in a candy store with all the amazing yarns and fibers out there. It is really getting out of hand. Winning this is a terrific opportunity to add to my growing obsession.
I haven't knitted since I was a child and would love to re-learn.
Well, my goal last year was to learn how to knit. I can now purl and knit ~ a basic scarf or pot holder or small blanket ~ LOL. But I am getting there. I only have a large pair of wooden needles, so this kit of goodies would be perfect for me!
I need these supplies because I really want to take up knitting!
hollyollyberry [at] yahoo.com
My 16 year old daughter is a knitting whiz, she has been working on sweaters on circular needles and is wanting to start to do socks. We have been buying needles, a pair at a time as she starts new projects. She could really put these needles to good use.

I haven't knitted anything since my kids were babies and I would love to start again. I used to love to knit baby clothes because the patterns are so beautiful and lacy looking.
I used to knit and crochet a lot, but when I had my family I didn't have the time anymore. Now that my children are gone, maybe I should take it up again.

I want these supplies to give to my daughter. She recently moved back to our area with hubby and baby on the way. She asked me to teach her to knit because she wanted to make the baby a sweater. (she found a beginner pattern online) So far so good. I bought her a knitting bag to hold her supplies...she was using a grocery bag...ugly...so now it would be great to fill that bag with supplies! I'm off to see what the tutes were on..maybe I'll start something myself!
